What is so sexy about guys with straight hair?

Ok, this has bugged me for ages.

I am young, 5:10, 32 inch waist, with a pretty muscular build. I have short, dark hair.

When I look at all the 'sexy' celebrity men - Orlando Bloom, Josh Hartnett... nope. They don't have straightened hair.

Yet, I have loads of really stick thin friends with medium, straightened hair - 'emo' style (fringe over one eye). Most of them have none of the traditional attractive features (upper body or thigh muscles, tans, even handsome faces) and yet, it seems they're always recieving more attention than I do (and it's not about personality, before you ask, since all they need to do is show some randomer a photo).

Would someone please tell me why?

Well, some girls prefer different kind of men. I don't necessarily love 'emo' guys, but I've never been a fan of big muscles. It just depends on what the girls want. Maybe you just don't hang out where the girls that like your look do?

And, a lot of girls are insecure and go with the fads. And since 'emo' guys are supposedly hot right now, the posser girls go after them.

Thats whats 'in' now, skinny emo boys with straight weird hairstyles. Its like the scene girls, there all kinda skinny and have bee hive hairstyles and the regular girls dont get a look in.

Ok....ready?....Look at the photos again....if you were a young girl would you think ....oh he looks shy, helpless, he needs me....Young girls do not see through things....nor the future with a fake guy, all they know is he is cute and he needs me....there ya go...eventually reality hits them like a ton of rocks! Then nice guys like you get the chance to mend their wounds from the 'helpless' guys mistakes! And you get to ask "what did you see in him in the first place?"

Mm, not all girls go for that kinda stuff. What kinda girls are you trying to pick up anyway? It seriously could be their personalities. I've seen PLENTY of guys who look better with short hair, so it doesn't really matter. In fact, it's only a matter of time before short hair becomes 'the trend' again.
