you can get a good type of shampoo and conditioner my hair is like yours and sometimes it is like the guy in the picture after i get out of the shower

I would use a STRAIGHT iron. Maybe have someone do it for you so it comes out really clean and straight. I straighten my hair everyday even know I have pin straight hair I do it anyway because it makes your hair shiny and smooth. I have seen guys straighten their hair and it comes out really good! You should get a straight iron and it doesn't have to be a $30-$40 one it can be a cheep $15 one because your a guy and you really don't need an expensive one if your only gunna straighten like two strans of your hair ya know. Plus get the 1 INCH - THE SMALL IRON NOT THE FAT ONE. You cannot get up to the roots if you get the fat iron.
