but my hair can do it for a while then it gets a little too long and instead of goign up it starts to curl help how do i keep it like in the picture

you have to get it trimmed like every month. maybe when you go to get your hair cut have your mom go with you so she can figure out how to trim it so you don't have to go into the barbor so often.

You've got to use a good stiff product made for spiking. Don't use a gel unless you want the wet look. I would advice a styling mud, which you should be able to find anywhere.

There's this really amazing product that some of my guy friends use, it's called Ice Gel, it's sold at Long's or any other drug store like that. It's this really strong gel that when you put it in your hair and smooth your hair out with your fingers, it takes the curl away and your hair can stay like that for I think like 8 or 9 hours, so i would try that and if it doesn't work just expirament a little, you'll find sumthin' that works!!
