that is cute, but you need more height on top and length. Her hair is much poofier than yours. It will require more styling and maintenance. It will look really good on you, though.

I think it's a cute hairstyle and it would definetely look cute on you. From looking at your pictures I'd say you have a long face, so the best hairstyle for your shape is layers. Keep your hair length and just add some short/medium layers to your hair. If your hair is naturally straight right after you shower add some root lift spray (a good one is treseme and cheap!) to your roots in the crown of your head, now blow dry your hair with your head upside down. Now you can wear some jumbo just large hot rollers once your hair is dry and you'll have so much volume you won't believe it. The one thing that I don't think is going to work for you are the side bangs, while they would look hot, your forehead is like mine, it's pretty short. If you see the pic you sent of the hairstyle you want, her forehead is quite big, she can wear bangs like that, you can try to side part it but it's pretty hard since you have a small forehead. It will always be in your face. You can still side part and throw it to the side. Try to avoid middle part because it will make your face look longer. Adding volume to the sides is your best bet. If you don't want to bother with the hot rollers, you can still do the root spray and blow drying and instead just use a ceramic hair straightener and just straighten your hair without touching the roots and you'll have glossy healthy looking hair with volume. I think adding some volume to hair would be great with your hair. You could get thick layers and side swept bangs. You could add a lot of volume by sleeping in large velcro rollers.

Ask help from a stylist to get you the right cut for that particular hairstyle. Also ask for tips on how you can maintain your look for everyday wear so you can go and buy the right styling tools/products :)

Well first you are going to have to grow it.
Once it is the right length (or a little longer) take the pic to a salon and say you want that cut.
They will do your hair same as in the photo, you should pay attenention to what they do.
You will need to straighten it, then proabably a little product at the roots to hold it in that side sweep and to minimise blow aways.
P.S. The haircut in the photo is really geeky.

Then, once that's done, you can either straighten the frizzies out with a flat iron, or use a frizz serum, like frizz ease.

I agree with you. Christina's hair is really nice. The cut has gradual layers with a razor cut edge that frames and flatters the face. Make sure you condition your hair really good after shampooing and use any de-frizz hair treatment or a lotion or gel to straighten hair. You don't have to spend alot of money. There are alot of good products for under $10.00 at your local store. Use a round brush when blow drying and then a flat paddle brush. Dry one section @ a time. After that, take a flat iron and smooth out each section. Take a tiny amount of pomade and work through the ends.

Okay, that one worked better. Her hair looks great, I'll admit. If you get special curling shampoo, then just curl random pieces it will work. If you don't want to get a special curling shampoo, just put moose on your hair after you get out of the shower, put your head down, blowdry a bit, while you curl your hair around your fingers. Or you could just curl it with an iron too.

You have to start with good product, I use the line "big sexy hair", you can purchase this at salons, I buy the duo at JC Penny, start with the root boost on wet hair, blowdry upside down, this will give you big volume. Then you have to do some teasing on the crown of the head, use a small pick to piece the hair into place, spray with "spray and play harder" hair spray...voi la!! You are beautiful!! I promise!
